The Erin's Isle GAA 5KM returns on August 22nd at 10:00 am, starting and finishing at Erin's Isle GAA Club in Finglas. Building on the success of last year’s event, this community-driven 5KM is designed for runners of all abilities, from first-time participants to experienced club runners chasing a solid time.
The route offers a balanced mix of accessibility and challenge, leaving the club grounds, heading towards Finglas South, and looping through Tolka Valley Park, creating a scenic and enjoyable course. With a target of 500 participants, the event promises a great atmosphere both on and off the course.
More than just a race, the day is designed as a full community experience. Expect music, entertainment, and a family-friendly environment throughout the club grounds. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal, with the focus firmly on participation, enjoyment, and community spirit.
Parking will be available nearby, with additional guidance provided closer to the event. Attendees are encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible.
