Calling all players and mascots in this photograph!!!
Are you currently in contact with anyone in this photograph? It was taken in July 1982 in Breffni Park (GAA) in Cavan, immediately after Erin’s Isle won the first ever All-Ireland U/14 Football Féile (Division 1). If you are in contact with any of them, please let them know about the forthcoming 40th Anniversary celebration of that Féile success at Erin’s Isle GAA Club on Saturday, 1 October at 8pm. It would be much appreciated if they could contact Ken Spratt (087 988 2119) – Ken would love to hear from all of the players and mascots. The four mentors of that team will be there on the night – Phil Dunne, Tommy Spratt, Brian Crosson and Arthur Farrell. Other players involved with the team but who could not play on the weekend included Alan Martin, Alan Wilson, Brendan Kealey, Noel Spratt, Joe Fagan, Tony Byrne, Sé McCauley and others. They too would be more than welcome – the mentors look forward to catching up with the players of that time.
