Erin’s Isle CLG is delighted to be hosting the Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Division 5 (Group B) U15 Féile 2024 competition on Saturday 20th April.

The core aim of Féile: “is to promote a philosophy whereby every player has the opportunity to participate and play in their respective U15 Féile tournament at a level commensurate to their age, skills and strengths”.

All Participating players and those attending Feile Peil na nOg are obliged to adhere to and implement the Code of Behaviour when working with underage players.

Erin’s Isle as a club operates a positive side-line policy. We take a zero tolerance approach regarding inappropriate or abusive behaviour towards referees, players, mentors and supporters.

Erin’s Isle will be hosting the Clontarf, Naomh Barrog, and St. Mary’s of Saggart clubs, we would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to the clubs and hope everyone enjoys the day.

Team Registration

Team registration is at 08.30am, our Féile coordinator will be on hand to welcome you to the club

Three team sheets are to be given to the Féile coordinator on arrival

Parade (08.45am)

We have a piper booked and the songs picked

The Parade starts at 8.45 am, we would welcome and encourage all participating teams to take part in the parade.

Please bring banners and flags to represent your club in the parade and set the girls up for the day

Pitch & Car Parking

· All Games will be played on two of our main pitches

· ALL cars may be able to park in the club, if there is not enough space, there is parking outside the club gates on Farnham Drive.

Féile Coordinator

Paul Drumm (085 703 4877 ) is the Féile Coordinator on the day, Paul will be available throughout the day to assist you with any queries

Féile Photographer

We are hoping to have an official photographer onsite this Saturday, can team mentors please contact Paul regarding player permission to photograph

Dressing Room

A dressing room will be assigned to each of the 3 traveling teams, Paul will be on hand to provide access that morning

Team Warm-Up

We would request that all teams conduct their warm-up in the area allocated to them on the day and not on the pitches.

First Aid

The 'Order of Malta' first aid team will be available on-site Saturday for all games.

Food and Beverage

· Ring-fenced food (sandwiches, snacks, and drinks) will be made available to all players, Paul will provide details on arrival

· Tea, Coffee, and Sandwich will be available to parents and supporters

· Club shop (drinks, sweets, etc) will be open for the duration for those younger supporters!!

Give Respect – Get Respect Initiative

As part of this process, DLGFA will also seek to foster the Give Respect – Get Respect Initiative, to ensure that at the very minimum, our Football games are promoted and played in a positive, fair and enjoyable manner where players, coaches, spectators, and referees Give Respect and Get Respect from each other.

The following shall be implemented in promoting and supporting the Respect Initiative:

· Host Clubs will welcome each team, officials, referees, and spectators to their venue.

· All players shall, as a condition of participation, undertake to play by the rules and take responsibility for their own behaviour whilst always respecting their opponents, referees, and officials.

· Players will line up at the centre of the field before each game and will shake hands with all members of the opposing team, their coaches, and the referee.

· Each player shall shake hands with their immediate opponents before and after each game.

· The respective coaches will also shake hands with the referee and their opposition coaches before and after each game.
